Powder brows, also known as Ombre brows, are a type of semi-permanent makeup procedure. This technique involves depositing pigment into the skin using a machine with a fine needle to create a soft, powdered makeup look. The result resembles the effect of subtly filled-in eyebrows with makeup powder or pencil.
Combo brows is a combination of powder brows and hair stokes.
This cosmetic procedure enhances facial features, providing a natural look that lasts without the need for daily makeup application. It is particularly beneficial for individuals with sparse or uneven brows. Powder and combo brows are suitable for all skin types.
- If you have sparse, thin or patchy brows
- If your looking for more symmetry between brows
- If your brows are lacking definition
- If you suffer from alopecia or suffered hair loss from an illness
Semi-permanent brows is done by inserting pigments into the surface layers of the skin using a machine designed for cosmetic tattooing and using feathered hair strokes, powdered shading or a mixture of both. It is suitable for all skin types. Microblading is done with a manual tool that looks like a blade giving just hair strokes and is not suitable for oily skin.
Semi-permanent make-up can not be conducted if any of the below apply to you:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Certain autoimmune diseases
- Ongoing chemotherapy
- Bleeding disorders
- Diabetes
- Active viral infections or diseases
- Active skin irritations, Rosacea, or Psoriasis near the treated area
